County Master Gardeners along with the Country Gardens Farm host a garden
tour. Andy's Nursery also hosts a Pond and Garden Tour. One of the most
famous gardens in Coweta County is Dunaway Gardens. The restored gardens
were started by actress Hetty Jane Dunaway Sewell in the 1920's. Another
garden, occasionally open to the public, is Oak Grove Farm and Gardens in
Newnan.

A Labor Day tradition is the Powers Crossroads County Fair and Art Festival
featuring fine arts and crafts.

You can commute into Atlanta with plenty of leg room, reclining seats, and
reading lamps on the Xpress bus (12 coaches a day from Newnan).
